Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some Elaf Frequently Asked Questions

Company, Supply & Installation

Warehouse and flooring supply operations

1. Do you manufacture the flooring or supply only?

Elaf Rubber is a leading distributor — we work with trusted manufacturing partners and supply their products to our network of project and installation partners. We do not carry out installation. We supply premium brands such as ErgoFloor, Bunde Flooring, Rosehill TPV and Hero Flooring for sports, fitness, commercial and everyday environments.

2. Do you install the flooring or work with installation partners?

As a distributor, we supply the product. Installation is carried out by our certified project partners who specialise in flooring installation. If needed, we can recommend partners for site-survey, installation and finishing.

3. Do you supply flooring materials to all Middle East & Africa regions?

Yes — our distribution covers the Middle East and Africa. Please contact us with your region and project details so we can advise availability, shipping lead time and logistic arrangements.

4. What brands do you represent and supply?

We represent and supply major resilient-flooring brands such as: ErgoFloor, Bunde Flooring, Rosehill TPV and Hero Flooring + Nike Grind.

5. How do you ensure the quality of the products you supply?

We select vendors who align with our principles of sustainability, vendor due-diligence, material sourcing, lifecycle assessment and production quality. We also rely on published product specification sheets, certifications and real-world performance.

6. Do you offer product warranties?

Yes — our products come with manufacturer or vendor warranties (varying by product line) and we work with you to understand the specification, usage and warranty coverage during quoting.

Product Types, Applications & Performance

Gym and sports flooring applications

1. Which product types and applications do you cover?

Our offerings cover: Rubber tiles for fitness gyms, cross-fit boxes, free-weights areas. Sport surfaces and courts (e.g. pathways, playgrounds) using brands such as Rosehill TPV. Commercial & everyday flooring zones where resilience, sustainability and ease-maintenance matter.

2. Is rubber flooring a good option for gyms and fitness centers?

Yes, rubber flooring is one of the best choices for gym and fitness environments. It provides outstanding shock absorption, slip resistance, and durability—ideal for weightlifting zones, cardio areas, and yoga studios.

3. What thicknesses and types of rubber flooring do you offer for gym applications?

For gym/fitness zones we classify roughly: Light cardio or general training: 6 mm–8 mm thick rubber tile or roll. Heavy weight training/free-weights: 10 mm–15 mm (or more) rubber tiles or pavers, high density for impact absorption. Our partner brands offer varying thicknesses and specifications.

4. Can your products be used outdoors or in wet areas?

Yes — some product lines (for example Rosehill TPV granules/binders) are UV-stable, durable and suitable for outdoor usage or wet zones. Always check the specific product’s specification for suitability in outdoor or high-moisture environments.

5. Are the flooring products slip-resistant and safe for high-impact use?

Yes — our rubber flooring solutions are designed for shock absorption, anti-slip performance, noise reduction and durability under heavy foot traffic or equipment use (e.g. gyms, sport surfaces).

6. What is the expected lifespan of the flooring?

When properly selected, installed and maintained, high-quality rubber flooring can last 10 years or more, depending on usage, load, maintenance and environment.

Customization (Color, Design, Branding)

Custom branded rubber flooring samples

1. Can I personalize the color and design of my gym’s rubber flooring?

Absolutely! We provide a wide selection of colors and design options for both rubber tiles. You can customize your flooring to match your brand identity, interior theme, or overall gym aesthetic.

2. Can I customize the color, design or branding of the flooring?

Yes — many of our partner brands offer options for color, texture, thickness and even branding or logo embedment. We can discuss custom requirements during specification phase.

Sustainability, Maintenance & Long-Term Care

Sustainable and low-maintenance flooring materials

1. What sustainability credentials or values does Elaf Rubber hold?

Sustainability is central to our business. We select vendors based on their commitment to the circular economy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), longevity of products, responsible sourcing and environmental impact.

2. What maintenance is required for rubber flooring?

Maintenance is straightforward: Regular sweeping or vacuuming to remove debris. Occasional damp-mopping with mild detergent suitable for rubber surfaces. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive brushes. Good maintenance helps retain appearance and performance.

Quotation, Lead-Time & Ordering

Project consultation and flooring quotation process

1. How do I get a quote and what information will you need?

To get a quote, please share: the area size (square meters), type of usage (gym, commercial, outdoor, playground), existing floor/substrate, desired thickness, color or brand preference. We will respond with product options, specification sheets and lead-time.

2. What lead-times should I expect for supply?

Lead-times vary based on: product type, thickness, quantity, custom color or branding requests, shipping destination and installation readiness. We recommend early engagement to align supply, installation and completion schedules.

3. How do I get started?

Contact us via the “Get a Quote” form on our website or email us with your project details (area, usage, required specs, budget) and we will follow up with a site visit, product recommendation and quotation.

4. What if I’m unsure which flooring solution to choose?

No problem — we can discuss your project with you, evaluate your zone (gym, commercial, outdoor, children’s area), propose suitable products, compare between options (roll vs tile, thickness, material) & help you select the best fit.
